About Me
I am a master’s student specializing in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) in the joint graduate program between ShanghaiTech University and the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I am a member of the ECOS Group at ICT, advised by Dr. Biwei Xie in Prof. Yungang Bao’s group.
My current research focuses on Electronic Design Automation (EDA) for VLSI physical design. I am working on optimization models that incorporate congestion awareness into analytical placement. The goal of this project is to improve routability without sacrificing placement quality or computational efficiency on realistic large-scale designs.
I am also interested in how AI agents can interact with engineering tools, learn from iterative feedback, and progressively improve their problem-solving strategies. I hope to build design automation systems that are both capable and reliable in complex workflows.
My background in algorithms and competitive programming strongly influences how I approach research. I reached a peak Codeforces rating of 2413 (Grandmaster) and enjoy turning difficult optimization problems into precise and efficient solutions.
